Matthew Andreini

Matthew Andreini is a native Iowan and earned his BA and MM degrees in Percussion Performance from the University of Northern Iowa.  His primary teachers include Randy Hogancamp (UNI), Tommy Giampietro (UNI), and István Szabó (University of Debrecen – Debrecen, Hungary).    Mr. Andreini performs regularly with a variety of ensembles throughout Iowa and has performed in multiple international tours throughout Europe, Central, and South America.  In addition to his regular performing schedule, he has been a featured soloist with the Cedar Falls Municipal Band, Waterloo Municipal Band, UNI Symphony Orchestra, UNI Percussion Ensembles, and the UNI New Horizons Band.  Mr. Andreini has previously held teaching positions at Southwestern Community College (Creston, Iowa), and currently has a teaching studio at Joyful Noise Drums and Percussion (West Des Moines, IA), and teaches Applied Percussion and Percussion Ensembles at the University of Northern Iowa.
